We have been "blessed" with five (yes, five) rescue dogs. The newest is a jack russell/dachshund mix. Everyday when i get home he is waiting with his tennis ball. We walk while i throw it for him. Even when i am tired out, he keeps me going. If he doesnt get enough exercise, he tends to eat my house. LOL

My favorite way to stay active is my daily rides on the recumbent bike. I do 2-3 miles a day. I have also started sweatin' to the oldies again (yeah go ahead and laugh) LOL. It's a good cardio and a chuckle watching Richard Simmons all at the same time hehe!

I went ahead and laughed.  Do you watch Richard on VHS tape?  I vote you need to win the package giveaway, not me.

LOL! I love sharing in a giggle with someone smiles Believe it or not they actually make them on DVD now hehe. Id totally watch it on VHS still if I could!(ah the good ol' days!) When the DVDs came in my sister and I had to watch them through before doing it to get the laughing out of our system! Laughing or not though, they get your heart rate going!

Swimming is how I stay active. The water helps keep the weight off my knees.

I would benifit from a fitbit to track my steps, challeging by competitive  edge of others.... walking is a great starter. I avoid the elevator  and do 10-20 flighys of stairs a day.
