I have been doing MAF training for the last 2 months where you try to maintain a low heart rate during your run/walk.  The target heart rate is 180 - your age so for me, 128.  You do the math.    I like it and it is much easier on your body but today, I wanted to see what I could do.  I did a 10K a few weeks ago and was somewhat disappointed in my results.  Today, was much better.  I did a 10K today and finished in 70 minutes.  4 minutes faster than two weeks ago.  I also did the 1st 5K in 33:00 which is a PR by about 45 seconds.  And I did 7 miles in 80 minutes.  Before starting MAF training, 1:28 was a good time for me for 7 miles.

And the endorphins are firing and I feel good.

It really feels good to get my total workout of running and warm ups of 8.5 miles in way less than 2 hours.  I got to work very early, did my workout, showered, dressed and was at my desk by 10 til 7.  I am very fortunate to work at a place that has a gym/showers.  Plus, my run takes me down the famous San Antonio river walk.

After the endorphins wear off, I will probably crash and burn about 10AM.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.
