My first "longer than a 5k" race was yesterday.  I did the Navy Air Force 5 miler in DC!  I'm still recovering from my hip injury, so I haven't been running or training, just healing and doing physical therapy.  But I ran for 1 minute out of every 9, and I ran for the entire last half mile.  Everything hurts today, but I'm SUPER proud of myself.  I was aiming for 1:40 and did 1:30!!

Anyway, this week..

Monday - yoga, physical therapy
Tuesday - physical therapy, walk/run, yoga stretching, yoga class, pilates class
Wednesday - pilates class, yoga class, relaxation class, personal training
Thursday - physical therapy, walk/run, yoga stretching, pilates class
Friday - piyozing class, tai chi class, pilates class
Saturday - Beat the Blerch 10k in New Jersey!
Sunday - yoga

How about you?  What's your exercise look like this week?

Sunday - 5K starts at the Alamo.  Goal is sub 33.  Should be 2 to 3 thousand runners.  Hoping to finish in top 30%.

Update - Not nearly as many runners as I was led to believe.  There were 250 or so.  I finished at 114 or just above top 50%.  My time was almost the same as two weeks ago.  33:46.   I did finish stronger.  I ran the last 200 yards in about 7 minute mile pace.
