I just started back at the gym (yay me!

I normally have a protein shake between breakfast and lunch. Should I switch this to have it after my workout?

I would, yes.  Everything I've read said that you want to get protein within 30-45 minutes of working out.

According to what I just read in Runner's World Magazine, yes, after is optimal.  Good luck!
