Lifting and Fat Loss - Plateau - 8 years out - Help

Hi all.  I haven't been to OH since my surgery in 2008.  I did well, lost 100lbs fell off the wagon a little and as of 3/15 began lifting weights to try and get the physique I always wanted.  I lost from 42%bodyfat to 38.8% bodyfat between 10/14 and 6/15 but I've been completely stuck since June.  There's little to no info out there for someone who is as far out as I am, who needs to eat higher calories for the lifting, and who is counting macros.  I'm hoping some of you have some experience with RNY specifically and can help me break this plateau.

I am female, 32, 193lbs with 117lbs Fat-free mass (lean).  I lift 3-4 times a week, heavy, to failure and build muscle fairly easily.  It's the fat% I want down.  I do HIIT cardio and also began C25K 6 days a week (after lifting, if its a weights day).  I have tried ALL kinds of calorie combos.  Maintenance for me is 2500/day so I have been anywhere between 1900 and 2500 to try and break the stall.  I fear I "broke" my metabolism with so many years of low calories post-wls, and I lost a lot of muscle right after surgery... I'm the same clothing size now as I was post-op but I'm 30lbs heavier.

Anyway, I eat 40% protein (about 200g) per day but since bariatric science wants to pretend fat and carbs are bad bad bad, there's little to no data about what combo I should be getting and more importantly WHAT my RNY rerouted guts will absorb.  I have tried very low carb which makes me feel awful.  Moderate carbs with little added sugar makes me feel well but again, I'm stuck in the plateau.

ANY advice you guys may have is welcome and appreciated.  I know I can't be the only post-op rny'er who began lifting and wants to follow the advice out there but unfortunately much of it isn't geared towards us.  Thanks in advance.

I would recommend contacting this blogger -- http://www.fitnfabulyss.com

She posts on OH, but I can't remember her user name.  Contacting her through her blog would be your best bet.  Her journey is AMAZING.

Weight training is my primary gym exercise - I am otherwise active, but wt train to muscle exhaustion like you. I look and feel great. I am glad to see someone else use this because people need to rebuild the muscle mass that is depleted during even the most balanced diet. That muscle mass is what burns calories. I would suggest checking these videos out:

This one explains his approach and a good place to start.

Especially the ones towards the bottom that are more for long-term success. (The ones at the top are more about choosing the best type of surgery, etc.) The doctor was not my doctor, but he generally is consistent with the published research.
