Hello. I am jump starting my workout regimen and have been researching Fit Bits. Do you have any recommendations? Did you buy one that kept falling off or broke quickly? Please let me know..it's a lot of money and I don't want to have to buy them over and over again..

Thanks!

It depends on what you want to do.  I don't worry about steps as I get out and run/walk and I average 5 miles a day.  For that, I rely more on a GPS watch with heart rate monitor.

If I were to buy one, I think I would go with the Fitbit HR or the Garmin Vivosmart.  I think Gwen on here uses the Vivosmart and she loves it.

Your phone will probably do most of want you want if you just want to track steps and activities.  I have the Samsung S5 and it has quite a few features.  You can even get a heart rate chest strap that works with the phone.

Getting your heart rate up is a very important part of fitness.

I'm really enjoying my Fit*****arge HR. I like to track my heart rate throughout the day and it tracks my sleep very accurately, too.

I recommend a Garmin Vivoactive because it's a step/activity tracker as well as a GPS watch for running, biking, and swimming.  It's a smar****ch as well, and, for me, a much better investment.  And only $150!
