Depending on how you ramped up your schedule, you might have increased too far and too fast.  It's recommended not to add more than 10% to your mileage in a week.  I think most injuries occur from people trying to push themselves too far too soon, then an injury happens, and then you're screwed.  Better to take things slowly to begin with!
