Good Luck on your Ironman. You know that is in a class by itself. Many of us can do the sprint distances (well, not me yet, but I will). Some people go so far as to do the olympic distance. BUT, when you hit Ironman, you have been training your butt off, your life is Ironman. Congratulations!!

Thank you. It's a crazy amount of work i'm putting in. And I won't do it again for awhile, simply because it's so much time away from my family. I will do Half Ironman's and marathons for the next few years. I love the HIM distance, and i'm still trying to make it to Boston.

Which IM did you do? How did you do and feel? I'm not a distance runner but have worked up to Olympic distance and might, just might be thinking about a half after I've had the surgery and lost some weight. I'm afraid to set my race schedule with so much unknown. It is so hard to find triathletes who have also had bariatric surgery to get suggestions on fueling etc.
