I warmed up this morning doing 1 mile on the elliptical and then went for my morning run/walk.  I decided to try to see how far I could run without doing my usual run/walk.  I ended up doing 5k in a personal best time of 36:24.  I don't know if I have ever run that far before at one time.  Maybe in high school.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

10K - 1:14(10/15) 1/2 - 1st 3/20/16

Thank you..  It seems I had been slowing down on my times and it felt good to go that far and a good time for me.  The furthest I had run without stopping before was 1 mile which was about 6 months ago. 

I am running in a 5K in September and I hope to break 33 minutes.

Congratulations,  can't wait till I start training for my first Couch to 5K.  Went to a seminar and they said to get the flat shoes and they I had surgery, so now I have to wait a bit :)  I am excited for you. Once a runner, you never stop.   Next is a 10K, and next thing is a marathon.
