Jiggly saggy upper arms.

So, I am 7 wks postop from VSG and Cholecystectomy and have lost a lot of inches and toned up quit a bit.  BUT, my arms! Why??  I am still super tired/weak from my weight restriction and am only using small free weights.  Any recommendations for toning my arms?  If I stick my arm out to the side, the top part looks great, but the bottom is just sagging fat/skin.  I do not want surgery for this ever.  I am only 29!  Need advice for getting rid of this!!  So embarrassing.

Sorry, surgery is primarily the only way.  You can add muscle, but sagging skin is just a fact of life.  Yes, it looks terrible but a small price to pay for being healthier.  I am 52 and it is embarrassing for me as well.

Surgery is really the only solution. You can't "tone up" skin once it's been stretched and broken from obesity.

Doesn't it snap back a little over time...especially for younger people?  I know my stomach went back a lot over the first year after my son was born.  Of course, I stretched it back out again, but I thought it could go back some over time.  Am I wrong?

They actually do NOT recommend having surgery on your arms!  I'm told the only other way to get rid of that sagging skin on your arms is to gain muscle (which might be great for me but NOT for women.) Many just wear long sleeves!

I'm just starting to check out arm lift surgery.  I'm not sure about it not being recommended, although significant scarring often results.  Depending on how much it bothers the person and how bad it is, a reasonable person could still go through with the arm lift.

If you are only in your 20s, cross your fingers and hope that your genes are good and your skin is still elastic.   At 58, I will be looking at surgery.

go get resistance bands and do alot of tricep exercise with various angles and weight, high rep mid to low weight and you'll tone up, im 26 and have the same problem, just keep it up
