Tonight is Thursday...I'll share a typical day of exercise for me. It has pretty much been the same for over 5 years. I'm retired and in about 40 days I turn 60. I've had 2 heart attacks, so I don't push myself to exhaustion. I also don't exercise outside when it's smoggy here in California. We are coming into wild fire season, so I have to adapt (go inside) for my exercise.
Anyways; rode my bike to the coffee shop...Got my cup of soup (beef vegetable) and an ice tea...2 Splenda and a 1/2 teaspoon of sugar...Lots of lemon. Then rode home...No big errands to run on my bike today. Later this afternoon I walked around the block with my wife...about 7 pm. About 1/2 hour before sunset I rode my bike again (using one of my 5 or 6 routes around town). Total miles on the bike today about 7-8 miles... I have a cheap phone (pre paid...No GPS) I think I average about 11-12 MPH on my bike. I try and do some simple arm exercises if I an not working on the farm or house (mowing weed/lawn with a push power lawn mower). If it's hard physical work...Then very little exercise for that day. If it's computer or paying bills...Lots of bike rides. Boring life, but I like it. Brian
