Starting to Exercise for 1st Time in a Long Time
I never had an issue walking because I walk 5+ miles a day at work, but many of my friends and family who are very heavy get sore and winded quickly when walking. I have heard and read that using a recumbent bike to exercise can be really great for those situations. It allows you to get your heart rate up and work your leg muscles but doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Plus you're already sitting if you need to stop and take a break. It might be worth the long time investment. My mom has one, I think she paid around $300 for it.
