Last Weekend I completed my first Olympic Tri (3:02 time). I conquered the beast in the Pocanos! It was so hilly I was suprised the lake swim wasn't uphill . I cant believe a little over a year ago I couldn't have even dreamed of doing this, could not swim more than 25yds, had never run and could only manage short rides. Grateful the surgery gave me the help I needed to get to this.

I will post a photo on my info.

Good luck to you both. Its  a lot of work but also a lot of fun. I did it with a large group from my local tri club and the camaraderie and encouragement were great. Now to plan my next one!

Thanks, I will check it out. You are right about the addiction. I am planning future events and trying to figure out what I would have to do to qualify for nationals!

Depending on your AG  you need to be freaking fast.  Most top AGers can run the 10k sub 60min OFF the bike and hold bike speeds around the 20mph mark.

The key to nationals is picking your races

Saw your pictures on your profile page.  You look great!!  I tell people (when they have lost the weight), you feel like a kid in a candy store with a wad of $20.  You don't know where to start...What to take on next.  Go for it...The sky's the limit...
