The key to a successful exercise program is balance and goals.  You need to balance your Life outside of exercise. Excessive exercise can lead to injury and illness.  If you have ever trained for an endurance event you rest days can be the hardest days but these are the days you get the biggest gains because they allow your body to heal and recover.

I do the same thing!  In order to get through it I schedule rest days and on my rest day I take a restorative yoga class which is MUCH different than hot yoga etc.  I have also found knitting and crocheting to help especially when I am watching TV.

From way out in left field...Could you have a transfer addiction.  It is very common...Maybe 30-40% of WLS patients have this issue.  For some it's alcohol, others it's a sex addiction, for some it's a shopping addiction.  And for some (small amount) there is an exercise addiction.  They have taken away your security blanket (food)...Could you be replacing it with exercise?  Just asking...Only you can answer...Something to think about.  Brian  Brian

I will suggest some home remedies like cultivate good sense of humour and laugh, relax yourself, try lavender, try to face the fear.
