too much exercise !!
I was doing exercise from monday to sunday, gym, salsa classes, rappel, bike....exercising was helping me with my anxiety, I was sleeping great at night, but, like my trainer told me, I had a breakdown, I started to feel so tired, my body was hurting, kind of when you are getting the flu, without the flu symptoms, I went to my doctor, and he asked to stop exercising for two week, FEEL I'M DYING, I feel so frustrated, any advices of what can I do instead to stop my anxiety symptoms??
You can't even go for a walk? I would ask to at least be able to walk. You have to keep moving some. Or a relaxation yoga. It will keep your muscles conditioned and help with the anxiety.
Actually I can, but It's not the same, walking relaxes you but I have a lot of energy, I need roughness to take it all out..lol...I'm thinking about yoga and REIKI...whenever I can go back to the gym, perhaps I can do it 4 times a week and try yoga the rest of week.
Understandable. I would just tell him that there is no way that you can be that still, that you need the physical activity to keep you off meds. I would ask if you can do long distance swimming in the mean time as well. It will help you to not hurt, and contrary to what people think, it really beats the hell out of your muscles and wears you out, if you do it properly. Water aerobics is tame, but tons of laps will make you feel every part of your body, exhaust you, and possibly get that drain you need without hurting your joints and giving yourself some time to heal. Its how I got into swimming when I was younger and thinner. I was a runner and I destroyed my knees and hips. I needed the physical activity as well, and was told to try swimming. I became a fish. Spent 4 hours a day in a pool. And I never have slept so good as when I used to swim. Just a thought.
Sounds like you are over training big time, kinda wish I had that problem (not really) I am under training big time! Do the yoga but save your money and don't pay for scams like Reiki! Nobody has the magical power to wave their hands around you and make you feel better. Unless of course you convince yourself that it will, then the placebo effect kicks in. But that is psychology and not magic chi hand powers.
This post makes me feel better, not that you dont get to exercise, but that there is another person out there that finds "relief" in exercising. I always used food to help 'calm my nerves' and I found that exercise does a better job! It helps me keep my anxiety and tendency to go OCD on things at bay. One would think that your doctor would want you to still keep moving like walking.
