without stopping in 12:45 Big milestone for me.   I could not even come close a few weeks ago.  The 4x4 interval training on the elliptical is helping a lot.

Hey! I just want you to know that that your FIRST nonstop mile has a better time than my CURRENT pace.

You are doing very well!

Congrats on that first mile and may there be many, many, many more!

Thanks.  i figured the reason I had not been able to run a mile before had to do with the fact I cannot make myself run at a slower pace.  I can either walk at about 3.5 mph or run at 4.5 or greater.  My avg of walk/run is about a 14 minute pace.

my average jog/run pace for when I go 8-12 miles is 13.30/17.00 minute miles depending if I am going uphill, downhill, wind my face or at my back/etc.

I can not tell you how much i wish for some SPEED.

Then I remember when there I was a time I could not WALK wihtout pain, dragging my leg or limbing (prior to back surgery). I remember this terrible time and then just decide to be GRATEFUL.

I am really proud of you. I bet when you compete in your first 5K, your time will knock my socks right off!

This is me having to use an alternative means of running to keep up with you!!!
