Getting back on track
I had some kidney stone issues that slowed me down and then I got lazy and have not worked out much in 3 months. I am 11 months post op VSG and have lost 150 lbs but have been at the same weight for 2 months as I have let snacking and carbs stop my weight loss. I wont call it a stall as a stall means to me you are doing things right and your body is holding on to the weight/fluids.
I started back walking last week. I walk 3 miles in about 50 minutes. They put a small gym here at work and this morning I started working out here. I did 1 mile on the treadmill to warm up in 17 minutes. Then 1.5 miles on the elliptical in 20 minutes and then I went outside and walked for another 1.2 miles in 20 minutes.
I would like to be at my goal weight this summer.
My wife is having the VSG in 3 weeks. Coincidentally, on the exact 1 year surgiversary from mine. She is a lightweight starting out at 195. She needs to lose about 65 lbs.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

Thanks. I will add another excuse of going through our company's annual audit. It starts up in Jan and is just now finishing. Plus, the weather was pretty crappy, by San Antonio standards, during February and March.
No more excuses though.
