Weekly workouts 3/2
Tapering for my first trail marathon on Saturday (yes, I do things ass-backwards. First the 50 miler, then 50k, then trail marathon.):
Monday: swim, 1000mts
Tuesday: swim, 2000 mts.
Weds: group speedwork: 6mi of hill repeats
Thursday: shoveling snow for 2 hours
Friday: 2000mt swim (fastest yet- 54 min!)
Saturday: trail marathon (28mi)--- edited: nope, just a regular trail run!
ETA: just found out the trail marathon was canceled, so I guess I'm gonna up the regular running and not rest so much.... Grrr! Friggen winter weather!

I plan on doing nothing, sore back :( First time in a good while that I have to stop myself from exercising for an extended period of time. Hopefully next week I'l be back on track & getting my steps in again, & maybe finally by then all this dang snow will be gone, gotta get thru this next storm., well at least I'm not in Boston, really feeling it for them.

monday: swim, I think the pool lifeguard looks a little more relaxed watching me know😄
tuesday: dry needled and feel like I have been beaten
Wednesday: travel
thursday: swim in hotel outdoor pool and run through Beverly Hills I hope
friday: run and swim
saturday: travel
sunday body shred
I'm spending most of the week in the hospital with my dad, but the hotel has a good fitness room. I'll be doing a mix of 5k training and yoga this week. I think I'm supposed to train Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, but we'll see what happens.

Epic swim day
300m warmup at easy 2:30pace
20X100 race pace. first 15 were on 2:30 last 5 went to 2:45 last interval was around 2:21 avg was 2:20 for the set. For me this is huge! last test was 10x100 and I managed a 2:24 on 3minutes
