Activity trackers
I have used the garmin & fitbit. I liked the fitbit and it got me moving more. I could just wear it on my bra so it was super convienent. I don't use it anymore, but did solidly for over a year. Now taking the stairs and finding extra steps is second nature to me.
I like the garmin for running outside. Its great for speed / distance work and is pretty accurate.
Didn't wear one until my wife Fit me a 920ft which has it built in. I record the info but more add an fyi
