^^ what Paul said!

Also, what got me started has evolved to being part of a community of athletes..... So, the byproducts of weight (ahem, maintenance) and fitness are good but what really motivates me is training with a great group of friends and being able to toe a starting line to challenge my body & mind each time!

Is it losing weight, getting fit, staying healthy, or does it just fuel your passion for exercise?

Can I answer all of the above? And just an additional, peace of mind and stress free.

Absolutely there are no wrong answers except if one does not exercise at all... We exercise because it is part of the tool we have been given in WLS, and it would be wrong not to optimize any tool that you have been given... A good example is a computer... some just use it to monitor social media, but that is okay because it has become a tool for that... When the tool just sits there turned off it does no one any good... Our WLS needs to be turned on and optimize for it to do any good...

I do it because I know it's good for me. That's why o started at least. Now I do it because I really believe it's good for me. If that makes any sense. :)

Yes Gwen it does make sense because just like a bad habit can become so by doing it over and over, a good habit needs to have the same approach... Many believe that because a good habit takes work that it is not worth it to continue it, but the truth is that after a while it becomes easier to do it and then we know that we do it because it is good for us... Good point...

Several things

  1. Endorphins -- I know I will feel better afterwards
  2. My body -- feeling the strength in my core makes me want MORE!
  3. Races / Competition -- I want to be better, faster, stronger :)

It started as weightloss, but mostly it's about living the best life possible.  I do it so I can do anything I want to do with my daughter at any time we decide to do it.

A desire to keep trim and healthy. It is of course enjoyable as well and gives you an improved feeling of well being.
