Weekly Workouts 2/23
I'm planning a bit more these days b/c I'm trying to train a bit for my tri w/o abandonning my yoga love. This is my flexible plan for the week:
M - 4.5 mile run
T - circuit & optional sprints, pm potentially swim & yoga
W - 3 mile fast run & yoga
T - spinning, pm potentially swim & yoga
F - sprints, yoga, hockey
S - yoga
S - yoga

My plan for the week:
Monday - swim (wanted to do 1000 but ended up with 750mts before I ran out of time)
Tues - late morning run 9mi
Weds - group speedwork: hill repeats, 5.5mi
Thurs - rest
Friday - am swim: 2000 mts in less than 1 hr!
Saturday - 5mi trail run
Sunday - 12mi group long run
First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11, Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13, (1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.
Continuing to prep for the tri seeing where my body fat% can go.
Mon: Rest took a short 250 m swim.
Tue: Swim and ab workout.
Wed: spinning, body shred class, physical therapy for it band issues.
Thu: Swim
Fri: Spin, run
Sat: TRX, yoga
Sun: spin, body shred class
body fat% 13.6 and just a bundle of energy this weekend!
No friggin clue what my workouts will be :( Here's my hope, though. Well, my current plan at least.
M - minimum yoga
T - fitstar, yoga
W - 5k training and yoga stretching
Th - yoga (hopefully more than the minimum)
F - 5k training and yoga stretching
Sa - 5k training and yoga stretching
Su - fitstar, yoga

Update -- plan vs actuals. I was feeling burned out late this week, so scaled back to just yoga late in the week. "just yoga" is a bit misconstrued -- it is tough!

Sat - 2 hour Run or Spin
SUN 2 hour Run or Spin (whatever I didn't do Sat)

Night of the chili cookoff. ..will have to duct tape my mouth I think
