Weekly Workouts 2/2
And it's February. Yikes. This year seems to be moving along swiftly. And my weekends are already booked up through March. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to catch up on all the things I've avoided doing in the past!

Good luck on your race, Gwen!
I've noticed my booty is looking a little deflated from all the running I've been doing, so I bought the "Strong Curves" book by Bret Contreras - a self-described glute expert - I'm going to start with their beginner full body strength training program that focuses on glute-building. I think it will also help with running power, especially on hills.
Monday - Strong curves Week 1 Day 1
Tuesday - 3mi run
Wednesday - Strong curves W1D2 (also going to get re-fitted for running shoes and to a clinic at my local running store!)
Thursday - 3mi run (hopefully in my new shoes!)
Friday - rest day
Saturday - 4mi run
Sunday - Strong Curves W1D3

Gwen I see you do Tai Chi. There is a Tai Chi class that takes place at the same time as my daughters ballet class at the studio she uses. I've had the opportunity to watch them practice Tai Chi on a number of occasions and it has my interest. What are your thoughts on it?

I enjoy my class quite a bit. I'm not really sure that I'd call it exercise? It's really more like moving meditation. It's good for my brain and body and coordination.
