Great Race, St. Michaels, MD 5/6/2015
I did this race last year. http://www.stmichaelsrunningfestival.com/
I had initially siged up for the half but then ended up doing the 10K because of a hamstring injury over the winter.
Right now I am waiting to have VSG surgery 2/11/2015 and plan on running the 10K race again this year.
Get on board and start your training. Download a couch to 5K program (iTunes what ever) and just follow the daily walks runs.
Its proven that if you can run 3 miles then you can run 6. So start working on a 5K. So what who cares how slow you go. My only goal in any of my races has been to run continuously without stopping. I go slow. I've rand 2 half marathons and each time I've walked so I haven't' reached that goal yet. Each has taken me over 3 hours to complete.
Want to have a flat cool fun run, go to this race because it is a blast.
My friend is a race ambassador for St. Michael's! So we've got a large contingent going for the half.... Good luck!!

I was kidding, thanks for trying, I will try when I apply. Last year I did the 10K (at 320 lbs) and it took me over an hour, and the beer at the end was the best beer Ive ever had I think.
I ran the 10K at Shamrock too last year and a bunch of local stuff.
I'm hoping to do a full marathon someday, maybe Columbus in the fall. I did their half 2 years ago and ran with my cousins and it was an awesome time.
This looks like a neat race! Sadly it's in that part of MD that's almost 2 hours away from me.. darned eastern shore :P
