Weekly Workouts
This is the big week for Americans - Thanksgiving! Yay rah! My plan calls for 12x400 on Thursday morning, so I'm hoping to get out there to run before I start cooking the big meal. I am taking it easy this week so that I can focus on physical therapy and healing for my shoulder.
Monday: physical therapy
Tuesday: 5k training and yoga stretching, physical therapy
Wednesday: rest and recovery
Thursday: 5k training and yoga stretching
Friday: rest and recovery, maybe a walk if I can drag some of my family members out with me
Saturday: rest and recovery, but hopefully a bit of yoga
Sunday: 5k training and yoga stretching
What's your exercise look like for the week?

I had a killer walkout, walked over 24 thousand steps yesterday, the most I've waked so far in one clip, that's including the 65min worth of bike riding at the gym. So even though I was a little tired from working a mid, the weather was just too nice to stay home. I am sore today walking like a little old lady but it was worth it, but finally I'm off work today! & I'm waiting on ups to deliver my exercise bike that my moms already has dibs on to ride. So far it looks like:
Sun bike riding at the gym 65min, over 24 thousand steps accd to fitbit
mon rest if my bike doesn't get here b4 7, bike riding 65 min if it does, walk 4 miles
tue bike riding 76 min at the gym, 10-15 min worth of weights, 20-30min treadmill
wed 65 min bike riding at the gym, 4 mile walk
thur just get my 10 thousand steps in (back on days at work, on Thanksgiving no less)
fri (hopefully will have my bike set up) 30 min ride, 4 mile walk, 65 min ride at gym
sat rest/ just get my 10 thousand steps in

Making progress on my slow slog/recovery from the ultra.... This week I rested until the Turkey Chase 10k (today, Thursday) and was so happy to be able to run it! I had to stop a couple times to stretch but the sports massage has finally loosened my tight calves enough to run. Will run again on Saturday, either a 5miler or 10miler. Soooo glad to be back with my running buddies after what felt like an eternity!
