Saturday - I ran my first 5K!!!!  My victory conditions were 1) don't die and 2) finish within the 60 minute course limit.  I came in at 54:43 and did not die!  I'm so freaking proud of myself.  I'm wearing my medal ALL WEEK.  

Sunday - 45 minutes yoga

I am wanting to get into running again after 20+ years of obesity hiatus, what success have you had in toning up loose skin areas? I had a DS 4 1/2 years ago and a tummy tuck due to the 230 pounds that I lost. I'm just trying to get back into shape, thoughts???? Compression shorts, your thoughts???

Others who do strength training or body-building probably would have better feedback on toning & loose skin, but I've just come to a "live and let live" relationship with my excess skin. It doesn't get in the way of running (with the exception of when I pull back on my CW-X gear after a bathroom break. That involves a bit of tucking & shuffling....). But as far as compression shorts, I'm a big fan of CW-X b/c it kinda has the kineseology tape thing built in and makes my butt look good! For excess skin up top (like my batwings), I just wear more tech shirts in either tee or long sleeve, as singlets & tanks tend to cause more chafing at the arms with skin-on-skin contact.
