I go to aqua zumba at my gym and I love it! The music is awesome and I love being in the water and feel much more coordinated half submerged!
Awesome! My gym does have an aqua zumba class, but it's at a totally inconvenient time for me. Sad times.

Zumba is awesome. There are varying levels depending on the instructors. I love doing it, but found out I was doing a bit too much. I was burning too many calories apparently. I had to up my calorie intake to give my body something to function on. I had to lessen the amount I was doing, but I still go and still love it.
Try it! It's fun! I've taken different classes with different instructors. They have all varied quite a bit. Some are quite different in style, feel, music type, difficulty level, class make-up, etc. The class I go to now is mostly women 20-45. The music is mostly Hip Hop Latin Dance... think Pit Pull and hit pop songs. It's a lot of fun. It's on a gym floor where they have karate classes, so it's a little easier on the joints when you bounce and stuff. I have bad knees from being so big for so long and from crappy genetics... I modify a lot of the jumping moves. I just make slightly differently motions. My instructor helped me come up with modifications so that I could still do the routines with the class and get a good workout without hurting myself. Some of the other classes were straight latin songs and moves. It's fun regardless!
