Low back pain can be so many different things.  I also suggest seeing your doctor.

First give it a couple of days to see if your back will feel better. Although I am sure you hate to take a break but a few days rest could save a month of therapy and being sidelined. If it continuous to bother you see a doctor. If it feels close to normal it may be ok to start back exercising but be sure to take about 5 minutes warming up your total body (of course whi*****ludes the back) and then about 5 minutes of stretching the total body (but definitely include about 2-3 back stretches).  Now you are ready to exercise. However, gradually work yourself into your normal exercise program. Maybe light exercise the first day back, moderate the next day and then by the third day of exercise if your back is ok consider doing your regular exercise program.
