Weekday workouts
I'm having a come-to-Jesus moment with my training..... I realized part of why I've been so fatigued is that I'd been over-training. Skipping dial-back weeks in favor of higher mileage is a sure-fire way to NOT make it to the start line of MCM or the 50 miler! So gonna dial it back a little this week....
Monday - rest day
Tuesday - am run of 7 mi, skipping the pm trail run
Weds - marathon group run (1.25mi warm up, ladder of 400-800-1200-1200-800-400, 1.25mi cool down). Actually only did around 7 mi but that's ok
Thursday - rest day
Friday - 11mi.... running mojo is officially back!

Rest is vital for recovery, so good idea. I remember a point when I was doing so much in the gym that I couldn't sleep at night, it was like my adrenal glands wouldn't slow down production. Make sure you are getting enough protein to speed recovery as well, your muscle are taking a beating.
You are really busting your butt though! You can certainly be forgiven for skipping the trail run in the PM your body needs rest. Congrats and keep covering ground!
