weekday workouts (8/11 - 8/15)
Even if it's only a few of us responding, I'm glad to post my training..... makes me feel accountable for the miles!
Monday: rest
Tuesday: am run 7 mi, pm trail run 5mi
Weds: marathon group track/speedwork - 9 mi total (a few solo laps, 1.25mi warm up, 1200-1600-1600-1200 at 9:20 pace with 400 recovery laps, and cool down)
Thursday: rest
Friday: am run, 10mi
First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11, Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13, (1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

Tuesday: Mile repeats, 1 warmup, 3x mile repeats with 600m recovery, 1 mile cooldown (a little over 5.5 miles)
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 6 miles run, easy
Friday: 5 miles run, easy
6 weeks left until my first half-marathon!

I'm out of town for the best four days in gaming this weekend, but I'll be walking a LOT while there, and taking along my gym clothes just in case I have the energy to get on the treadmill on Saturday!

Monday: 50 minute spin
Tuesday: 30 minutes - strength/resistance
Wednesday: 50 minutes spin with light upper body weights
Thursday: 1 mile warmup on TM, 30 minutes strength/body weight resistance, evening 3 mile run including 7 hill repeats on the treadmill - no outdoor exercise - poor air quality out there
Friday: rest
Saturday: "long run" - 5 miles - 1 week before duathlon race
Sunday: 20 mile bike ride - 10 mile to coffee shop, breakfast then 10 miles back home - will be practicing transitions after.
Monday: Rest
Tues: Track
Wed: Serious Strength
Thurs: Hill Ride - 12.5 miles
Fri: Rest
