Saturday: trail run of 13.6 mi..... longest trail distance to date, complete with the ubiquitous fall, but puts my weeks' training total at 56mi!!

Sunday: marathon group run of 17 mi (or possibly more, if I'm that masochistic)

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR  Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13(1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

You are all so impressive!  My weekend days are my rest days.  I'll be walking about an hour today to get to and from a restaurant from my parents' hotel.  So nice compared to my exercise during the week!

Sat: ran a "Fun" Ride as part of a charity event. We had a skills station for the kids and biked around the neighborhood stopping at the skills station each time where they learned something new. Now I'm totally bushed.

Sun: OWS followed by a run. Not sure of the distances

56 miles!!! whoohoooooooo! great job! I'm sorry you fell.  You ok?

I completed my longest run to date on Friday night and it was 8 miles!

Saturday: rest

Sunday: 5 miles run

 

Total Week mileage: 28 miles - plan is to boost up to 40 ish miles before tapering for the half marathon on September 21!

HW: 274 SW: 241  CW: 149 --- 5'6 (Surgery date 11/26/2013)

Congrats on the 8 miler! Yeah, the trick with trail falls is to pick yourself back up before your brain can register that you fell.... But haven't been seriously hurt yet! :)
