Saturday: trail run, of 12.75mi I think. My Garmin bit the dust so pace/time/distance are all guestimates until I get my new one in 2 wks...
Sunday: marathon group training, 15mi
First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11, Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13, (1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.
Hey girl,
I'm having some abdominal pain so I might take today off :(. I ran 5 miles with abdominal pain on Thursday and I was bent over with pain afterwards so I should take it easy. I was supposed to run 3 miles today...but I know it is better to take care of me right now than to run 3 miles as much as it hurts to take the unplanned day off. I'm scheduled for 3 miles run today and 6 miles run tomorrow. Have a great time tomorrow. carry me in spirit!
I think I carried you in my intestines b/c I was dealing w/ pain (and other symptoms) during today's run too! Meh. Gotta work on timing of pre-run food and making sure I wake up with enough time to poo before running. TMI, I know....

Sat: 19 mile bike ride. Skipped the run after because:
Sun: Dip 'n Dash race - 1500 yard swim and 4 mile run

The swim was short but the run was long. Got 2nd in my age group! Out of two, LOL.
But I ran the fasted I've ever run and my swim was the fastest too. I'm getting better and stronger!

Friday-50 minute spin class
Saturday-3 miles walking on beach w/ my wife
Sunday-6 mile run
I have found that I struggle to run in the Summer as the heat does a number on me when running. As such, been doing Spin, Boxing and Body Pump classes at the Y I belong too. As long as I am exercising...I am happy!
