My 1st walk!
Tonight I decided that after 2 weeks I should be just fine to be able to exercise. I walked one mile in 23 minutes! The best part was that I didn't stop for a break at all. I think I should start doing this once in the morning & once at night. The month of July is mine!!
Since my surgery I haven't had any back or hip pains! I haven't walked for a super long time so I'm really thrilled! I've Benedict scared to try exercising because I became dehydrated about 3 times so I was nervous to go out to the park by myself. Now I know I can do this!!!
Good for you!
You need to start posting in the Daily/Weekly exercise threads now. :D

What procedure did you have done? I am so happy to hear that you can now walk a distance without pain. My friend who is considering the gastric bypass, cannot lose weight because he has so much pain in hips and knees when he tries to walk a distance. I am scared about the surgery, but also scared at all of his comorbidities and his inability to move. All of his weight is right in his middle. It is as if he were 8 months pregnant.....and it is so hard for him to get around. Please help me with any positive encouragement here.....hrray for you to be able to walk a distance now that you could not before surgery.
