VSG workout h2o question

Hello!  I currently have a band and considering VSG.  I consume 24+oz of waster during/after a workout.  Does anyone have difficulty with that?  About how much can I expect to drink at a given time?  The thought of not being able to chug water is a little scary for me, any thoughts?

Right after surgery you'll be sore and swollen and won't be able to drink fast but eventually you'll be able to drink like a  normal person.

Hey there,

I'm 9 months out from VSG and I can drink just shy of 8oz at a time. But I also drink about 24+ oz of water during/after a workout. I sip a lot and don't gulp. I used to drink a lot more before surgery but I think it comes with time and as your stomach heals you will be able to drink more. But, I also know what my limit is. I think it goes by a case by case basis but I think you'll be able to do it and still get your fluids in.

I hope that helps! :)
