PR for 1/2 Marathon

Well, going into the day was not very confident about my 2nd half marathon today. I did something to my leg on a long run last week and could not run from Wednesday to Saturday. HOWEVER, got to the race today and actually felt good. Ultimately, I ran my 2nd Half Marathon in 1hour 56 minutes at a pace of about 8:54 /mile pace. It bettered my time from last year by around 7 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! Feeling great tonight and truly grateful

I am replying again!! Congrats!  I aspire to be able to do similarly someday!  I know exactly how you are feeling because I have been feeling the same since after my 5K, which was so much slower than yours but so BIG for me!  CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!  such a big achievement!!

Legs still recovering and I got my appetite back yesterday (unfortunately!) but pushed it hard at the race and chopped down my PR by 11 min to 2:04:43! I was really happy with the results, as it makes a sub-2 feel like within my reach for next year...

I am continuing the 7 miles running daily. This was my target and I am regularly doing this.

My health is my Highest Priority.
