I'm crazy! I just signed up for my second half marathon--and haven't run my first yet! :)

I am using the Jeff Galloway system to train for my first half marathon in May and there was a big announcement by Jeff today about his first half marathon and it will be in Atlanta, which is 3 1/2 hours from me. It is a full weekend event, race is on Sunday and I am soooo looking forward to this! It is in December, so it is entirely possible I'll compete in a race between May and Dec...but regardless, I'll keep the training up!

WOOT WOOT! I am so excited...had to share with those that would get it! :)

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Good for you! I did the same thing - - I registered for my 2nd Half, in the hotel room 2 days before my first half  Hey, at least it doesn't violate the 72hr rule! As in, don't sign up or do anything major in the 72 hrs around a race b/c you can't be held accountable for any acts of lunacy that may preceed or follow the potent adrenaline/nerves coctail that come with long-distance racing (per a much wiser coach. And I sometimes actually listen to him!).

Exciting! I feel like you will be one of those people that gets addicted to running.

I was not that person.  It always reminded me of punishment since I grew up playing competitive sports. After my first half marathon, I think the first words out of my mouth after crossing the finish line were "NEVER AGAIN."

LOL, I absolutely am! We are having awful weather here and I had no indoor place to run near me. I went to our storage unit and realized it was an indoor 'track' and now when it is icy out, I go and run 'laps' inside the building. I did not realize they watch the cameras all the time until I left one day and the guy in the office came hustling out as I was driving out, waved me down and said he could tell I was getting faster, lol. :)

I signed up for my first Half on Accident.  Was at an Expo thinking I was signing up for one race and I actually signed up for 1 a month earlier.  So I signed up for the other one too.
