Hi all! Just finished a mid-afternoon run in my new shoes.... you know you're a crazy runner when you go for a 3 mile run to break in shoes BEFORE your planned run. Um, yeah. Total mileage toda TBD but likely around 8mi, as my running buddy & I usually meet up to do somewhere b/w 4-6mi. How YOU doin?

 

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR  Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13(1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

LOL, indeed! When I have rotated a new pair in, it is on my 'walk' day which I like less and less because I want to get out and RUNNNN, but Jeff Galloway swears it is the right solution--so I am just following his program!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! I am DOIN great...did a solid 4 mile run...getting ready for some shoveling tomorrow!

I'm teaching some people to run a 5k on Tuesdays so we did Week 2 of Couch-to-5k. Except no one else but me showed up! I ran anyway of which I am quite proud because it was freaking cold and I didn't want to!

I run everyday upto 2 miles. and this is the quick weight loss activity for me.
