So I told the trainer I wanted to work on speed and endurance since my surgeon is planning to be at the finish line of my next half.  I think I'm gonna regret that lol

Speedwork is awesome! That plan sounds amazing...One word of advice: coffee. I do some coffee before really intense speedwork sessions, which we usually do Weds evenings, and while it makes me insufferably hyper to my running buddies, it's my performance enhancing drug!

Thanks.... there are definitely days of struggle but I am so fortunate and blessed to have my trainer and my counselor as friends and support.
