Tuesday WOD - Getting Back to it!
Well I have been MIA for more than a few months and life has been very hectic. Few job Changes (my choice) and life in general. Last years race schedule was very very minimal. I raced Augusta HIM with Kat and like usual had a blast doing it! I know sounds sick having a blast doing something like that.
Well In December I signed up for IM LOU. Because of Jillian, Andrew and Dan it is kind of like a right of passage for me to earn my nut job status! Last year really had me lost with my training I was so far from motivated at one point I hit that viscous circle of wanting to train but not knowing where to start so avoiding it and on and on. To beak the cycle I hired a coach who lays my week training out and I just do it. He has me on a fairly tight leash to ensure I make it first to the start line and then to the finish. I am 1 week into my plan and down 6 pounds.
Todays workout
900 meters swim drills these mofos are harder than swimming a couple miles non stop.
tonight will be 90 minutes on the trainer pushing zone2 low zone 3.
Go Get Some.

Glad to see you on OH Paul!!
I did 4.59 miles at a super-sucky pace with my running buddy/coach.... we did 12 min/miles due to the cold and dodging ice patches, ugh! We looked like running-versions of that kid in A Christmas Story because we were both wearing so many layers, we could barely move our legs & arms! Hey, at least we didn't die of hypothermia....

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
