calling on all crazy people who run
I started at 3 minutes at the time, at a 3.6 pace, I'm also 5'3" and i have a short stride, then it was 5 minutes, then, 10, then 15 and it progress, the most i have done is 4 miles and my pace is up to 4.2, now, I'm working on sprints which also helps with the pace. I also work out my legs to build to be stronger and develop, squats are awesome. This is not a precise thing, you should go as far as you can, it is your body, and always keep progress in mind. You can also work the treadmill on an incline, also helps you build strong legs.
