Ran a 5k and I think I may have PR'd.... my Garmin said 27:32, so we'll see once they post the race results what my actual time was. And hopefully my friend will be up for running tomorrow for a long-ish run, as I haven't done more than 6 miles since the marathon!

Good job on your lifting and run.

I rode 21 miles on my bike this afternoon. It took me 2 hours ... it was uphill and into the wind on the way back. I'm a little bummed that I'm kinda slow but I keep reminding myself that, this time last year, I couldn't walk 200 yards to the end of my block. So I'm very grateful for what my body can do now, no matter how slow it goes. :-)

Saturday I did 4.25 miles of hills. I didn't care about distance or speed, I just jogged until I saw a hill and went that direction lol.   I have a half in January in Jackson, Ms and supposedly it is know for its hills.

Went hiking on Saturday with my Border Collie / Aus. Shepard mix (Sasha).  1.3 miles each direction, and 520 in elevation up to the top of Hanging Rock.  Was a beautiful day in NC!

Quick Pic of the two of us taking a break with a view.

Hilly 11 mile long run on Saturday - but was already sore from strength training on Friday - well that was dumb. Our long runs are not usually so extreme - but I guess that it will help me in the 3 half marathons I am running before the end of February:

December 8, 2013 - The Decker Challenge Half Marathon - a couple of awesome (sarc) hills including one nicknamed "quadzilla".

January 18, 2013 - 3M Half Marathon - pretty flat, known to be a fast course - maybe I will actually "race" this one.

February 16, 2013 - The Austin Half Marathon - ran this one last year as my first ever half - hilly and tough but should be able to PR the course from last year.

Its hard to do a split for those three days. Usually you want days of rest unless if your doing a group of muscles everyday instead of full body or half body days. Do some sort of body building style I guess. Split the body into the three days
Friday: chest/shoulders
Saturday: Arms/Back
Sunda: Legs/Abs
Something like that.
