Tuesday Workout
:/
Pre-op I suffered from major depression and PTSD. Literally days after surgery, I started building confidence. Now, 2yrs out, I have hit the darkest place in a very long time. I "know" it is exhaustion from no sleep / worrying about my mom / stress of her being in ICU / the ugly realities it put in front of me. And I 'Know" eating is not the answer, but have mercy I have binged like the old me. SO depressed. Emailed my counselor and he said quitting my Tri may be a good thing for me. He doesn't know me as well as I thought he did.
So I saw my other "counselor" today... my trainer
3 min warmup jog on TM
2 rounds -
10 65lb walking thrusters (55lb last half of 2nd round)
20 decline situps
30 clean and squats
40 captain's chair pushups
50 med ball skiers (with an ab twist 2nd round)
then a 5minute jog on the TM
then 30min Spin class
I'm so sorry you're going thru such stress.... You know what works for you best, so if your Tri training brings you more solace than stress, then your counselor was only grasping at straws. Don't give up on yourself, just "tri" again.
Tues I ran 7 miles and it wasn't pretty.... poor choice of food *** I binged too) led to some GI distress.....
