Weekend Workouts - 8/10 - 8/11
My tri club had an OWS clinic today and I went to it. It was fun. I forgot to turn on my Garmin so I have no idea how much I swam. Oh well.

Longest run to date: 19 miles! Ooof, it was hard but got it done with only minor casualties - Camelback strap broke and have blisters on my left foot and left collarbone (weird!). Another odd thing is that I'm still not hungry and it's nearly 3pm... I usually get the rungries but today was so hard that I'm just nursing protein shakes to get in my nutrition in....

Exercise *can* depress the appetite. It just kind of depends.

Saturday I did minimal "farm chores" and then watched a movie before doing a 5.5 mile walk / run. I beat last week's 4 m ile time by 5 minutes and my 4th mile was a negative split (because I was bound and determined to beat last weeks' time and I wasn't sure where the 4 mile mark was lol )
Today was Tri group training - 500yd OWS (in the bay, Gulf was too serious), 15 mile bike, 5k run
IT band says tonight is gonna be a foam roller kind of night
Rode my bike to Church...5+ miles. Coming Home I stopped by a yard sale...Bought too much stuff to carry on the bike. Heading back I met my wife for lunch and she took the stuff home. Hot day today in CA. I did about 11 miles total. Doesn't sound very far, but there are a lot of starts and stops (traffic) and my bike is heavy duty [weighs a ton] (see profile pictures). Still waiting for someone to steal my bike...I've been eyeing a new Trek for a few years. Brian
