Wednesday workouts

Ran 6 miles with FTM group at 10:51 min/mile pace due to the heat advisory.. Read somewhere that you should add 10 sec to your pace for every 10 degrees above 60F. So I guess what was 10:51 actually felt like a 10:15 pace!!

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR  Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13(1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

HOT!!

45 minute progression run with marathon group - ended up with 4.3 miles at 10:31 pace. Did better pacing myself on this run, last time we did a progression run I burned myself up in the middle third and and didn't finish strong at all.

Yeah, it's a hard lesson for me to learn - "how you train is how you'll race"!

1100 m in the pool.  Heat was not an issue. :-P

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!
