Squats (145lbs), Leg Extensions, Calf Raises, Lat Pulldowns, Seated Rows, Barbell Curls, Dumbbell Curls
Ran 4 miles this morning with a friend; averaged 11:59 pace. Bit slow due to the heat & my friend is a slower natural pace than I usually prefer. I tried out my new Kinvara 4s and they worked great!
This afternoon we'll probably run around 6miles - not sure what pace we'll end up with, as there's a heat advisory here in DC but since my running buddy & I are both in the 10:30 pace group for marathon training, hopefully we'll be able to come close to that! Without stroking out, that is!

Hot, hot, hot here in NC today. I had a 3 mile recovery run on the schedule today. I'm not sure if it is a foolish move or not, but in an attempt to acclimate to the heat, since I know my recovery runs (the run after a speed work day) are meant to be much slower than my normal pace, I've been doing recovery runs in the heat of the day so I don't have to feel bad about going SLOW.
So, 3 miles at a 11:20 pace in 90 degree heat. Super glad for the AC and overhead fan!
