Saturday is Bainbridge Island to Port Gamble Day! Yay! I used to be so excited for my Saturday rides that I wouldn't be able to sleep on Friday night, and rolling home at the end of the ride made me a little depressed. Still LOVE the ride, but now able to sleep just fine.
45 miles! 17.9 mph avg. 3 hours total including the rest stops. Big group of riders today, 14.
Friday night I didn't get my treadmill run in because it took 3 hours to scrape my parent;'s ceiling. Good upper body though!
Saturday I did an easy walk / run 1 mile. My trainer wants me to work more on having fun / enjoying runs again than worrying about time or not walking. It did make it more enjoyable when I wasn't cussing myself for walking.
This morning was group Tri training - a little over 600yds total in the Gulf of Mexico for a swim clinic
4 station - strategy / technique dryland talk, sighting practice, 250yd loop for continuous swim (2 loops), and beach entry / exit practice with runs up the beach
I'm tired lol. Will at least walk tonight at work, brought my clothes to hopefully do some TM tabata sprints
I am teaching a double (2 Hr) Spin Class on Saturday, will probably swim 3500M before that and 20 Mile run on Sunday.
