Friday workouts/training
Just finished 3.04 miles at MP(10:30) on a solo run, leaving to run with a friend - - while she's in a faster MP group (9:40), she's also battling some major injury stuff so she wants to run 10m/m or slower, which is perfect for me! So will be a total of 8 miles this morning.

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11, Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13, (1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.
I did my 0600 Spinnerval class - kind of. I was wiped out.
3 song spin, circuit, 3 songs, circuit, 3 more songs
1min stations - BOSU burpees, 5 pushups/5 hellraisers, 35lb sumo squat high pull, TRX plank pulls, alternating side plank
Also had about a 30 minute reality check with my trainer. I am going to start taking 2nd rest day. It terrifies me, but I told her I would give it at least through August. So my new schedule will be -
Mon - total rest
Tuesday - PT (full body and running) / Spin class
Wed - active rest - help my folks,easy swim, etc
Thurs - PT (upper body and core) / kickboxing class
Fri - Spinnerval on occasion, Tabata, Zumba, PT (lower and running) or any mix of those + PT
Sat - riding my bike with my trainer on her long runs (marathon training to qualify for Boston); yard work as needed as long as it isn't heavy every week
Sun - Tri group training
