Wednesday workouts
Leaving shortly for our marathoners group training - 6 miles of hill repeats. And it's 84 degrees out. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.....
First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11, Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13, (1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.
Instead of going home angry, I rode my bike another 15 miles and ran 3.5 at the rail trail.
Sounds like you took disappointment and turned it into fuel for more exercise! Way to go!

5K in the morning, moderately hard effort due to pace and heat.
4 miles in the evening with some of the marathon training group, people that are already on their 18-week training plan did a tempo run, since I still have another couple weeks before I ramp up and I was nearly spent from my run early I took it s-l-o-w, it was 90 degrees!
134 days till marathon day!
I had PT session on Wednesday
Assisted pullups, decline pushups (hands on bars about 1ft off ground, feet on 18" box), jump squats
Originally supposed to be 4 sets of 12, trainer said she felt "bonus rounds" were in order, so did 6
Then went to the Gulf of Mexico and swam, played, walked into completely exhaustion :)
