Weekend workouts/training/etc
Saturday - ran this morning with Team Challenge for 9.25 miles. None of my mentees ran so I ran with another mentor & tried out my new training theory: no coffee in am and no liquids 2 hrs before running will have me peeing less - and it worked! I was a zombie & not very loquacious during the run but at least I didn't have to pee for 1.5hrs!
Sunday - running with some buddies, planning for around 8 miles or so.

Saturday - 1000 yard swim and a 9.5 miler ride brick workout - wasnt expecting to jump on the bike right after I got out of the pool, but I guess that was the plan, so I ended up biking in my swim suit (just threw my cyclling clothes over it) - BAD IDEA.
Hiking tomorrow.

Well, started out to do 4 mile run. Decided to run in a local state park on a path. Bad idea. Tripped on a root and injured my ankle. Sittin here icing it as it is inflated like a balloon.
Very bummed and hoping it is a sprain and nothing worse. However, when it happened felt what I think was a snap so afraid it may be worse.
Nightmare....

Amazing Jillian!!! You are just phenomenal!!!! Sometimes those "OMG, I'm so far behind" thoughts can be a motivator, even if they're totally not accurate! My one friend & I ended up using it for our PRs on the past Half - we swore we could just see each other ahead and if we just pushed more, we could catch up to each other and run the rest of the race together. Except we weren't sure who was behind and who lapped who - it was a comedy of errors that led to PRs!!
