saturday was the last day of my "rest week"  (easily the most stressful, non-resting rest week on record lol ).  I did go in with my dad and we split the purchase of an awesome treadmill... the Proform 995. It has (I think?) 20 preset workouts, and you can buy a wireless adapater (with a subscription, of course). The adapter allows you to enter your routes in google maps and it automatically changes the incline on the TM, preset distance, you can set the speed, etc.  There are also SD cards you can buy for said adapter and do runs internationally, etc

Today I did a short burst on the treadmill, but spent most of my pre-work day getting ready for gardening season.

Well, it was not on the training plan for the 1/2 marathon (not that I'm doing a good job following that anyway) but I decided to do a confidence boosting 1/2 marathon test on Saturday. I ran 13.1 in 2:21. I did stop for 5 minutes right in the middle to check in at the house, go to the bathroom and refill my water bottle. So, if I add those minutes in, I'm still under 2:30. I feel a little better about the race coming up but still not 100%.

Sunday was a rest day.

That's great! I'm in favor of training plans that boost your confidence. Our training tops out at 15 miles, I guess so that 13.1 seems easy . The bummer is that the same club's First Time Marathoner program tops out at 20 miles... WTF?
