Exercise vs. plastic surgery

For all the post-oppers out there- has anyone been able to achieve a toned or semi-toned body without plastic surgery (ie. skin removal)?

My hope is to be able to exercise and strength train and avoid too much excess skin, but is this realistic?

You can see my pics on my profile to assess my "toned-ness" but I've found that age & genetics are working with my running to keep my from running to a plastic surgeon's office..... except for the arms. Even with doing freeweights, the excess skin there is pretty bad.

I am 44, my heaviest wt was about 340 and I will need plastics next year.  I have a big year planned athletic wise so I want to wait until December during the off season.  My breast and abdomen need to be fixed.  I do not have a pannus, but it is enough to make me want it gone.  I would love to have my arms and thighs done, but they dont bother me as much as the other does.
